Where in the country are the events?

There are lots of activities and events going on in all parts of England, Scotland and Wales every week of the year. In fact, IVC probably has more events per month (around 1,000) than any similar organisation. We also have Weekends away all over the country and our holidays could be to any worldwide destination.

How do I book for events?

Many events require no pre-booking and are arranged on a 'turn up and go' basis. So if you do happen to find yourself at a loose end and feel like going out, just choose an event and turn up! However we do generally advise calling the host for the event beforehand so they know to look out for you.

How does it work?

At the end of every month you are sent a magazine with a day by day guide to between 15 and 120 IVC events in your local area, depending on the size of the club. Most of our events are arranged by the members of the club, and you are invited to attend as many events as you wish. Most of our events are Free. Charges are only made when entrance fees, tickets or accommodation etc is required.

What sort of events does IVC offer?

IVC offers everything from Bowling to night clubs, hiking to sailing, bridge to backgammon, weekends away to foreign holidays. There is an abundance of activities and social events to choose from.
