Subscriptions in IVC

IVCs are run by the members for the members and are not-for-profit organisations - consequently membership fees are generally inexpensive.

As events are organised by members there are no additional charges - so this means that most are in fact free of charge to attend: for example, country walks or pub nights.

Subscriptions cover the cost of running the club such as producing and distributing bulletins as well as advertising and new member recruitment costs, membership of the national association (aIVC) which includes public liability insurance.

In the event that additional funds remain at the end of the year, the committee may, at their discretion, use some of this money to provide one or more free activities or events for the benefit of all members.

Most clubs offer single and joint memberships - which vary depending the clubs location. Most single memberships are under £40 per year. Your subscription entitles you to access all events throughout the year and a monthly mailing of the events bulletin.

In comparison to commercial organisations, the IVC offers excellent value for money and more activities per month than any similar organisation.
