Then DUNDEE IVC welcomes you. We are currently the most northerly IVC and have members not only in Dundee City but also a considerable number in Angus, Fife and Perthshire.

DUNDEE IVC is the leading non-profit-making multi-activity social club for active working professionals in the area — from Broughty Ferry to Brechin, Cupar to Kirkcaldy, Friockheim to Forfar, Perth to Pitscottie and Scone to St Andrews.

DISCOVER NEW FRIENDS

We are a non-commercial club whose activities are arranged by our members. Comprehensive monthly programmes offer a wide selection of events - dining out, theatre, cinema, skiing, parties, pub lunches, rambles, BBQ are just a few examples. Activities reflect members' interests, so it's also a good chance to get others interested in your more unusual hobbies, too - ballooning, aromatherapy or wine tasting could be the very things someone else has been eager to try!

Our current members' interests are wide-ranging and include amateur dramatics, astrology, the outdoors, concerts, badminton, museum/art gallery visits, Salsa and ceilidh dancing, debating, keep-fit, travel, modern languages, Tai chi and entertaining.

A NATIONAL CLUB

IVC was originally begun in London in 1946 by two Cambridge undergraduates to enliven their long summer vacation social lull. Today, the UK has over 40 branches of IVC, so there's likely to be one near you. Most of DUNDEE IVC's members are 25-55-ish but the most important things are a willingness to get involved and and the ability to mix with others. Membership is open to both single and married people from a wide range of careers and occupations.

HOW DO I FIND OUT MORE?

Prospective members are encouraged to attend events of their choice. We will send up to three programmes without obligation. We are friendly and informal, always pleased to meet new faces.
