AX - Replacement for AE

Activity Exchange is gone.(see below).

aIVC are considering several alternatives as a replacement - Agoria(this system), Meetup and a proposed new system from Nimur Ltd.

The spec from Nimur Ltd can be found here: -  AE Replacement Proposal Nick Murrall.pdf

To assist in the decision makeing process we have drawn up an  analyis of the features/our requiremnts of each system.

The analysis can be found here: -  AnalysisOfSystems.doc.  Some comments that have been received can be found here:- Download comments.docx

If you would like to add to the  comments or analysis please send them to either Bob Clifford at webmaster@ivc.org.uk or Ann Jones at  aivannc2014b@yahoo.co.uk.

Meanwhile, it is so important that we do not lose momentum. If your IVC is putting on a national event, please send the details to the AIVC Webmaster or the National Events Co-ordinator using the Email Contacts option in the Contact section of this web site.

Clubs will soon be receiving instructions from the Webmaster on how to allow their members to see all the details for events on the AIVC web site and how to add new events.

All events entered on the AIVC web site are by default saved as "Private" unless this is changed by the user.  This means that for most events, only logged in IVC activists will be able see any contact and location details.

In the meantime you will find many of the main AIVC events on the Merseyside IVC Meetup pages at the web address below:

www.meetup.com/Merseyside-Intervarsity-Club

Just to reassure contributors, on the MIVC web site the contact details have been stripped out and put in the files section, visible only to people admitted to those pages.

If your branch is running on Meetup then the details may be easily copied.
