This is the Meetup group of Derby Focus Activities Club, a non-profit-making club which has been running for over 25 years and has over 200 members. We are in the Association of Inter-Varsity Clubs and have links with some of the 40+ other IVC clubs around the country. Our membership covers quite a wide age range although a lot of our members are now in their 50’s and 60’s.

We publish a programme of events each month, with something happening on most days of the week. Events are put on by members, for members, and cover a wide range of activities, whether social, sporting or cultural. You can see a summary of current events by clicking here.

We put a small selection of our events on Meetup. You're welcome to attend these and get a chance to meet some of the members of Focus. Please use the RSVP facility so that the host of the event knows to look out for you.

Only a small number of people might RSVP to our events on Meetup. This doesn't mean that no-one is going, it’s just that not all our full members use Meetup. Most of our events are well attended so you won't find yourself alone.
