AIVC Future - York Weekend and Regional Gathering
This event, ties in with the “York Weekend” and will be the third regional aIVC meeting in our current year.
The main idea is to get IVC club members together socialise (that’s the main reason most people join IVC, I am sure), also to discuss the future of aIVC.
The aIVC committee would like as many clubs to be represented as possible. In Bristol we had 40 members from 14 different clubs. The centre is on the side the racecourse on the opposite side the Grandstand. The walking around the course is allowed and really worth taking a look at. Please note this event is FREE! and finger buffet will be available with tea and coffee being served. Time: 11:00am Peter Howe: 07944 880722 (towerpete@aol.com)
Details of the event can be found on the official aIVC at the address below, click on events and follow to book your place.: Location:
York Racecourse Centre, Tadcaster Road, Dringhouses, York YO24 1QG Time: 11:00am

This web site provides background information and aims to develop ideas for the discussion points to be considered at the Regional Gatherings on the future of the AIVC. http://aivcfuture.agoria.co.uk Further details of these gatherings are also included in the latest Newslines. Please give consideration within your clubs to the discussion topics so that your club's views can be included in our overall report to next AIVC AGM. We welcome non-committee IVC members to attend as observers who feel they have something to contribute to the discussions at the gathering. Make it a social occasion too ... The Regional Gathering is also intended to be a social event ... so do come along to enjoy a chat, drink and buffet with your fellow IVCers. Birmingham and York IVC have very kindly offered to host the event and are also organising activities for the York Weekend for those staying over. Why not make a weekend of it and enjoy a break in York?
The AIVC Development Officer will use this web site to record and display the results of the discussions at the Regional Gatherings. These can all be found by clicking on the "Results" section in the top menu bar. We hope that many of you will attend to contribute to the discussions about the future development of our association and its member clubs. Thanks from the AIVC Committee go to Peter Howe, AIVC Events Officer and Birmingham IVC Committee Officer for organising the York Weekend and gathering. |
