Basingstoke IVC Science Cafe invite you to this free Royal Institution talk titled "A future with quantum biology" SUMMARY Scientific and technological advances have enabled us to zoom into the biological world. We can get down to the biomolecular scale, a domain where quantum phenomena can take place and therefore cannot be neglected. Join Alexandra Olaya-Castro as she explores research on fundamental quantum principles underlying energy capture, transfer, and conversion at the biomolecular level. In this Discourse, discover how we develop theoretical approaches that bring together modern quantum science with physical chemistry and biology. This is a theatre event, where the speaker and audience in our theatre are joined by an online audience. For Theatre attendees, the address is 21 Albemarle Street, London, W1S 4BS.
